Laurie is a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and has been teaching at New Life Preschool since 2001. What she loves about teaching most is watching the children progress and grow. Seeing how excited and proud they are when they accomplish a goal or master a skill. It is a wonderful blessing to be part of.

When she isn’t teaching, Laurie loves to be outdoors hiking and biking

with her family. Laurie attended Cuesta College for a few years where she acquired General Education and Early Childhood Development units towards her Associate in Arts Degree.

Laurie’s favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
