Dionne is thrilled to be returning to New Life Preschool. She’s always considered the preschool her extended family, and she’s missed working here the past 3 years. Her middle child who is now 12, started here when she was 3 and now her youngest is attending New Life Preschool. Dionne said, “It’s amazing how God works and how things have made a full circle!” She also has a husband and a 14 year old son.
Dionne started attending New Life Church when she was in junior high. She’s grown up in “this phenomenal church” and her kids have also been brought up in this church. Like the preschool, her church family is her extended family and her "home away from home." She has been a Christian since she was 4 and attended several churches along the way, but she says New Life is where she belongs. “The Holy Spirit and blessings pour out of every entity of this church, which includes the preschool,” says Dionne. “It is the biggest blessing of all to experience Jesus, time and time again through the eyes of the children here. It doesn't get any better than this, so who wouldn't want to come back!”

Veronica Davis is new to the New Life Preschool team but not new to the field of Early Childhood Education.
Veronica was born and raised in Bakersfield. California. After graduating from high school, she attended Allan Hancock College and the Early Childhood Education Academy at Bakersfield College. She completed the necessary course work for teaching preschool. Having fallen in love with the coast during her time at Allen Hancock, she returned to the area and secured employment in as a toddler teacher. She has now been working in the field for 16 years.
Veronica takes pride and satisfaction in watching the growth and development of those in her care. She is humbled by the knowledge she is learning as much from her students as she is teaching.
When not at New Life, Veronica is busy raising her two young sons, the loves of her life. She is an avid fan of the theatre, music, dance and baseball.
Veronica is grateful for the opportunity she has been given to be a part of the New Life Preschool team.
Her favorite Bible verse is
She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear if the future.
