Teaching has been a dream for Tina since a very young age. At 22, she moved to the central coast on a leap of faith in 2005. She was an event planner for a retirement community in San Luis Obispo for eight years.
In 2009, she completed her Bachelor's degree in multiple subject teaching and early childhood development from Chapman University and continued to use her degree with senior citizens.
Not long after marrying her husband in 2011, she served as an Employment Resource Specialist and Child Support Assistant for San Luis Obispo County. She never expected the opportunity to teach children would arise - until it did!
Tina loves all ages of children and feels a deep gratitude for having the opportunity to pour love, time and energy into the younger generations. She loves doing various art projects and finds spontaneous dance parties with her husband and daughter, Autumn, are some of her favorite moments.
Bible Verse: "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6
Ms. Sarah has been apart of the New Life family since her late teen years and continues to call this place home. Born and raised here on the central coast where she loves to spend time with her amazing husband and fur babies.
Ms. Sarah has always had a true joy and passion for working with little loves and continues to use her God given gifts here at New Life Preschool.
When Ms. Sarah is not at school she is off exploring and enjoying time away with her friends, family and 3 precious god daughters at the most magical place on earth (where she hopes to continue to go on many new Disney adventures in the near future)
Psalm 139:14: I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Ms. CJ has lived on the Central Coast her whole life! In 2021 she graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Child Developmental and a minor in Psychology.
Following graduation she planned on working full time as a Child Development Specialist, where she would work with zero to three year olds with developmental delays. However, she felt like God was calling her to also work as a preschool teacher.
Currently she works as a Child Development Specialist part time and spends the rest of her work week at New Life Preschool. Her mornings at New Life are spent helping out in Ms. Tina’s threes and fours class, and in the afternoon she closes out the day with the sweet twos and threes.
CJ is loving every bit of working with preschoolers and is so excited to see what else the Lord will use her for at New Life Preschool!
