Jessica Sterling

Substitute

Jessica grew up on the Central Coast and has felt so thankful for the opportunity to stay in the area and close to her family while pursuing her education and career. Jessica graduated from Cuesta College with her Associates degree n in Early Childhood Education in 2016 and then transferred to Cal Poly where she graduated in 2018 with her Bachelors degree in Child Development. Jessica is now working on her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters degree in Elementary Education through Western Governors University, which she will have completed in the near future.

Jessica has four years of experience working in the classroom and additional experience working for non-profits that help children who have experienced trauma, specifically children who are in our foster care system. She has a passion for getting to love children exactly where they are at and has found joy in doing so in the classroom.

One of Jessica’s favorite verses is Psalms 63: 3-4, “Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.”
